We are on the cover of Biophysical Journal! 🎉
There is something special about seeing research work come to life on the cover of a scientific journal. This has come true for our latest HPV16 paper, which has been selected for the cover of Biophysical Journal, 21 July issue.
The cover artwork captures the busy and dynamic world around a virus as it moves across the cell surface. It offers a creative glimpse into the research while highlighting the many interactions taking place at a very small scale. Read the full story in BPS blog here.
The idea for the artwork came from Dario Conca, co-first author of the study, whose concept turned the science behind the paper into an eye-catching cover image. For the whole team, the cover is both a proud moment and a to share our research in a new way.
“This is a wonderful recognition of our work, and I am super duper happy to see the paper on the cover of Biophysical Journal,” said Fouzia Bano, co-first author of the study.
Marta Bally, PI in charge of this study, added:
“I am very happy and proud of my team, and it is very rewarding to see their hard work featured in the journal.”
We are once again grateful to all our co-authors and collaborators for their contributions and for being part of this work. This cover is a wonderful celebration for everyone!
