June Barbecue 2024
A few weeks ago, we were delighted to have Chloé visit us from France, after leaving us in April. For the occasion, Marta and Hudson hosted a barbecue party at their house, complete with summer drinks. The excellent weather and Tavelsjö lake welcomed a swim and a little canoe trip. Then the grill was hot, and everybody enjoyed and shared their grilled food and sides.
After we were satiated, Hudson challenged us for a hard match of croquet, and made sure we knew the most essential rule: to always have a drink in one hand when you play with the other. After a heated battle with sticks, kamikaze balls and mosquitoes, the game was won by Dario. Congratulations!
A few days later, it was time for a second au revoir to Chloé. We will miss you (again), but all the best on your future academic career in France, fingers crossed your own lab is just around the corner!
