Group Event Autumn Semester 2022
Recently we had our bi-annual group event. On this occasion, everyone presented the status and progress of their projects. Since those meetings are always a good occasion to discuss problems, a focus was on struggles and limits faced in the lab or at data analysis. A lot of time was given (and taken) for discussions. These were of quite diverse nature as some people just started and are still defining their projects while others are working on their manuscript and try to sum up all the experiments to sculpture a coherent story.
To re-energize us during those discussions we ordered pizza. After the scientific part, we went to town and enjoyed bowling and arcade games. The event was finalized with a well-deserved group dinner.
We are now all back with new ideas for our own projects and hopefully with a boost in motivation after all the encouragements received and seeing all the progress and interesting experiments being conducted in our lab.
