Welcome Sarah
This month we had the pleasure to welcome our new postdoc Sarah Verbeek. Sarah did her PhD at the University of Göttingen, Germany . She has already quite some expertise with atomic-force microscopy (AFM) and membrane biophysics. In our lab she will apply her knowledge to viruses and will complement our on-going research.
Sarah arrived already mid-June in Umeå. Thus, she could enjoy her first Midsummer celebration in Sweden with the traditional flower crown making and dancing around the pole. What better way to start?
